3DMark Score Calculation

1 Attachment(s)
NeoForce, Samendk and team members OCClub have worked to gather information on the formulas for calculating points in the tests of 3DMark, PCMark and Aquamark.

1. 3DMark01 = (Game1 Car Chase Low,FPS + Game2 Dragothic Low,FPS + Game3 Lobby Low,FPS) * 10 + (Game1 Car Chase High,FPS + Game2 Dragothic High,FPS + Game3 Lobby High,FPS + Nature) * 20

2. 3DMark03 = (GT1 Wings of Fury,FPS * 7.3) + (GT2 Battle of Proxycon,FPS * 37) + (GT3 Troll's Lair,FPS * 47.1) + (GT4 Mother Nature,FPS * 38.7)
CPU score = (CPU Test 1* 4.6) + (CPU Test 2 * 27.5)

3. 3DMark05 = ((GT1 Return To Proxycon,FPS * GT2 Firefly Forest,FPS * GT3 Canyon Flight,FPS)^(1/3)) * 250
CPU score = (CPU Test 1 * CPU Test 2)^0.5 * 1500

4. 3DMark06 = 2.5 * (1 / ((1.7 / GPU Score + 0.3 / CPU score) / 2))
, where
GPU Score = 0.5 * (SM2.0 Score + SM3.0 Score)
SM2.0 Score = 60 * (GT1 Return To Proxycon,FPS + GT2 Firefly Forest,FPS)
SM3.0 Score = 50 * (HDR1 Canyon Fliht,FPS + HDR2 Deep Freeze,FPS)
CPU Score = 2500 * sqrt(CPU1 Red Valley,FPS * CPU2 Red Valley,FPS)

5. 3DMark Vantage = (Weighted GPU + Weighted CPU) / ((Weighted GPU / GPU Score) + (Weighted CPU / CPU Score))
, where
GPU score = (GPU Test1_Constant * Test1,FPS) + (GPU Test2_Constant * Test2,FPS)
CPU score = (CPU Test1_Constant * Test1) + (CPU Test1_Constant * Test2)

GPU Test1_Constant = 173.61 or (2500 / 14.4)
GPU Test2_Constant = 163.78 or (2500 / 14.9)
CPU Test1_Constant = 5.23 or (2500 / 477.9)
CPU Test2_Constant = 208 or (2500 / 12.0)

Value constants Weighted GPU and Weighted CPU depending on the mode of testing.

Constants Weighted GPU and Weighted CPU depends on the profile of testing. The more "heavier" mode, the less significant impact on the CPU outcome of the test.

6. 3DMark11 = (Weight Graphics + Weight Physics + Weight Combined) / (Weight Graphics / Score Graphics + Weight Physics / Score Physics + Weight Combined / Score Combined)
,where
Score Graphics = C Graphics * 4 / (1 / FPS Test1 + 1 / FPS Test2 + 1 / FPS Test3 + 1 / FPS Test4)
Score Physics = C Physics * FPS Physics
Score Combined = C Combined * FPS Combined

The constant and weights in the score formulas for each preset are set as follows:

7. PCMark04 = 66 * (Test 1 * Test 2 * Test 3 * Test 4 * Test 5 * Test 6 * Test 7 * Test 8 * Test 9 * Test 10 * Test 11 * Test 12 * Test 13) ^ (1/13)

8. PCMark05 = 87 * (Test 1 * Test 2 * Test 3 * Test 4 * Test 5 * Test 6 * Test 7 * Test 8 * Test 9 * Test 10 * Test 11 * Test 12 * Test 13 * Test 14 * Test 15 * Test 16) ^ (1/16)

9. Aquamark = Avg.FPS * 1000

AquaMark3 TRISCORE. The score system of AquaMark3 consists out of three different values (AquaMark3 TRISCORE) which are derived from the most important measurement in game-based benchmarks like AquaMark, which is the average number of frames per second (AvgFPS). This is simply calculated by dividing the total number of frames in the benchmark by the time the benchmark needed to complete. But in AquaMark3 two other AvgFPS values can be found in the output files: The AvgFPS CPU and the AvgFPS GFX. These are based on single frame measurements. Each frame takes a certain amount of time to complete. One part of each frame calculation is spent on simulating the game physics and artificial intelligence on the CPU. The other part is spent on rendering the graphics on screen. Both parts of each frame are measured independently, and based on these values the two theoretical AvgFPS values are computed, as if only that part of the frame would have been processed. Note that the absolute value of these two measurements is of theoretical nature, but considering these values in relation to values on other test system allows a performance judgment of the two mainly stressed components. The AvgFPS CPU is fairly precise indication of the performance of the CPU in combination with the motherboard and system memory. However the AvgFPS GFX does not solely judge the performance of the graphic card, as it also depends on the CPU and system memory, since graphic card drivers and the operating system contribute to the measurement. Graphic card
drivers, though running on the CPU, are seen as part of the creation of graphical content and don't contribute to the CPU score. Where the AvgFPS result should serve as an indicator for buying completely new systems the results of AvgFPS CPU and AvgFPS GFX should serve as an indicator, whether CPU and GPU fit together well in a system. Or if one is the weak link in the system's chain of hardware units and should be exchanged.

Direct effect of GPU / CPU Score on the outcome there, they are calculated in parallel. But they should focus on passing this test.

3DMark Score Calculation
Excel file, which can count \ check points for test.
I've found allows you to count points for 3DMark01, 3DMark03, 3DMark05, 3DMark06, 3DMark Vantage, PCMark04, PCMark 05.
For 3DMark06, plate has two columns, as the formula for calculating Graphic Score for different cards with support for SM3.0 and without it.
In the file are filled with cells, only the gray color.

You`re welcome!
It is nice tool when you need to check score or to calculate what fps you need to receive wanted score )

3DMark11 = (Weight Graphics + Weight Physics + Weight Combined) / (Weight Graphics / Score Graphics + Weight Physics / Score Physics + Weight Combined / Score Combined)
,where
Score Graphics = C Graphics * 4 / (1 / FPS Test1 + 1 / FPS Test2 + 1 / FPS Test3 + 1 / FPS Test4)
Score Physics = C Physics * FPS Physics
Score Combined = C Combined * FPS Combined

The constant and weights in the score formulas for each preset are set as follows:
