"Current games, drivers and APIs benefit from more cores
The game test parcours for Ryzen with fourteen current or still popular titles using current drivers and a very fast graphics card shows: Games and drivers will benefit significantly from more cores in early 2017. As a result, Broadwell-E with six, eight, or ten cores can even make up for hundreds of megahertz's deficit with the clock against the Core i7-7700K with Kaby Lake. On average, the 8-core CPU is the fastest in the test, followed by the 10-core processor. However, Kaby Lake is only slightly down seven percent.

A clear trend without claim to universality
Of course there are exceptions to this rule. Of course, in this article, the latest fastest graphics card for gamers, the GeForce GTX Titan X, was used. And of course it is not proven that it is exactly the same with drivers of AMD. The difference to the previously used course with the then fastest graphics card from Nvidia remains clear, however, and a key finding for the test of Ryzen in games is laid: Many cores, with less clock, could be an advantage in early 2017 in games.

...More details with the test of Ryzen!"
