Thanks stivut..your first result looks good..takes place 32.

The second result..there is something wrong..like you say you couldn't make txt file..and look to the nodes/sec. ,on every depth you get same high number..and this is to good to be true
This need a re-test..and only with 92Mhz higher clocks,you can't get +/-800.000nodes/sec. more...or maybe

List updated.

Hi Jean-Paul, missed me?

Here's a little something from me. I wanted to come back with a 10xxxxxx, unfortunately your program simply mocks my SS, going from -45 to +70 in less then a minute... I had several runs with 10x N/s, unfortunately I never got pass 1:30s, so I have to settle with a 9.xxx for now

Monstru..you know very well how to reach the limits from a cpu..congratz friend!

Lucky i'am a nice man and always take the first Depth 21 line..else you got 7173nodes less but i see you had a hard time to get the 10milj.nodes and missed me..so i can accept your result

Schumy, After you have select 8 threads and confirm it with "OK" ,have you close and restart Arena again?
Indeed it strange that he stays on 12.5% and give you a very high nodes/sec.
You have already try the test again!

Thx bro, but this is more like baby ass frequency. It's just our first "more serious" encounter, I have to learn this new baby by heart

Jean-Paul - from a certain frequency up the scaling is not that great anymore. Maybe it's the OS or smth.

Monstru..just great result!!

Let me guess: WESTMERE-EP 6C/12T X5680 3.33GHz 130TDP 32nm!

"Jean-Paul - from a certain frequency up the scaling is not that great anymore."
Two things..with this TogaII engine test is the HT(Hash Table) very limited, and when you overclock the cpu to their max. you can get a slow down or like a bottleneck in your system,so at some point something can't follow anymore!! Even you get the highest result

When more and more people will have these new Westmere/Gulftown cpu's is it maybe time to come with a other chess engine who can handle 32cores!!

Just say your thoughts..you can give me on the first page under message 1 a empty message box where we can put the new results with new engine..the explenation is the same,i just Edit it a little with the the name..and you can upload the other Arena+engine so that people still can choose or try the two engines!
Or i start a new topic..(but i like more the first one )
