Warcraft III - Warcraft III Reforged - 1.27b - future patchs
This was a small update, but we're planning for more in the future. The 1.27b patch.
Scoaterea limitei e bine venita si dorita de mult timp, pentru ca, better custom maps. Hartile mari cu modele High Quality si custom sfx, sareau imediat peste limita de 8MB. Si nu le puteai juca pe calea oficiala/bnet
Aveai 2 variante:
1. Puteai hosta/juca doar LAN printr-un .mix modificat. Toata lumea trebuia sa aiba acel mix. Era un custom script. Pentru a juca o mapa de 25-50MB
2.Harta avea 8 MB, modele/sfx/sunete etc, erau compilate in fisere .mix, trebuia sa descarci acele fisere si sa le pui in folderul Warcraft 3 sau redist/miles. Unul continea modele/sfx iar altul sunetele.
Dar acum limita e scoasa by default.
Dang.. mai lucreaza la un alt patch.

WoW nu e motivul. Motivul e ca Blizzard is getting greedy...nu prea ii mai intereseaza jocurile...mai mult e-sports si microtransactions.
Vezi ultimele lansari Hearthstone, HOTS, Overwatch...
Sincer industria de jocuri din ziua de azi se cam duce dracu...mai nou toti copii se vor streameri si pro-playeri...prefera sa se uite pe rahatul ala de twitch sau pe reddit si sa spameze sau sa trolleze decat sa se bucure de joc.

True that, dpmdv s-a pierdut de multa vreme conceptul de strategy games, n-am mai vazut nici un joc la fel de bun cum a fost warcraft-ul, homeworld, settlers (care mai nou e cancelata seria si s-a facut reboot la un ***** de joc gen moba), age of empire, company of heroes si lista continua... m-a impresionat extrem de mult ultimul homeworld, desert of kharak chiar daca a fost scurt rau a fost frumos.
Trendul acum e pe microtranzactii si f2p games (lucru bun, nu ma deranjeaza atata timp cat nu ofera avantaje fata de free player, partea proasta e ca toti au acces si comunitatea de multe ori devine toxica din cauza asta) daca o dau in pay2win nu ma ating de nici un joc sub nici o forma.
Starcraft-ul II a ajuns o mizerie fata de ce era primul.
Sunt de aceeasi parere cu ceea ce spui @ ithanium2

Nu uitati de poveste. Daca la jocurile din ziua de azi nu as avea rabdare sa termin o campanie single player, la warcraft 3 si half life 2 le-am jucat de nenumarate ori si de fiecare data cu mai multa placere.

Legion TD ii copie 1 la 1.
Totusi, nu toti creatorii de harti au adaptat Starcraft.
Mai multi au mers pe Dota 2, dar au realizat ca e cam greu sa faci harti.. nu ai tutoriale nu resurse.. nu nimic.

Nu ma refeream la hartile custom, ma refeream la jocul standard gen orc vs undead pe lost temple, sau alte harti. Cat despre hartile custom, sunt mult mai multe copii de harti custom din warcraft 3 copiate in starcraft 2, doar ca unitatile / abilitatile arata diferit.

EXACT! Eu nici macar nu am auzit de reddit si nici n-am cont pe twitch. Mi se pare labareala de 7-8 - 12 ani...
Si da, poveste ca la Warcraft, Half Life 2, samd... nu prea se mai fac in ziua de azi. oricum ca si strategii in afara de cele vechi era armies of exigo ce incerca sa se apropie cumva... dar no.

Depinde, "noi" am avut nevoie doar de:
no more graphics lag (optimizat motorul grafic, in caz ca dezvoltatorul hartii a fost prea lenes cu efectele)
delay/ms in game redus official. (nu mai e nevoie sa folosim o aplicatie separat)
sa poti juca harti mai mari de 8 mb. (noi foloseam .mix-uri ori mixpatch special care elimina limita)
+altele
Care le-au rezolvat. ^^

Pana acum jucam pe w3 pe gameranger, dar as vrea sa stiu care'i solutia mai "legala"
