First .. some Wprime tests. 1024m can pack a lot of heat out of those 4 cores. But ryba's cascade was keeping everything cool.

Next some tests with GTX 280 ... card memory was overclocking very well 1377mhz !!

Next two 4870x2 stock cooled but with some modifications:
- better thermalpaste
- fans set to 100%
- core voltage 1.45v

Temperature dropped from 80* to 60* with higher voltage and clock speeds. Unfortunately both cards didn't behive the same.
One was running 820-840/1020 and the other 860-890/1080.

These are not our last words

I must put more work with 4870x2 single and dual... ehh, too much hardware and to less time to test everything.

Well that happens. Usually when you focus on one platform and push it for 1-2 weeks, you get the best out of it. But when you have much hardware, there is allways too little time and you can't push it to the max with each piece of hardware.

Indeed, a ton of hardware! At least you got to know the CPU and Motherboard quite well.

Beautiful frequencies on that GTX280! Congrats for the WR!
