E clar ca multi producatori exagereaza, dar in acelasi timp cei care nu exagereaza, dau specificatiile alea pentru ventilatoare testate in aer liber, evident nu montate.
Ce e ingrijorator e ca la ventilatoare de ani de zile se bate pasul pe loc ca si performanta / fiabilitate si mai mult modele noi inseamna tot timpul mai mult bling bling. Adica sa-mi arate si mie cineva un ventilator care la acelasi nivel de zgomot sa impinga aer prin radiatoare ca gentle typhoon, poate nu am cautat eu destul.

Vardar de la EKWB. Si da, bat pasul pe loc. Dar cea mai mare problema sunt specificatiile false, mincinoase, inutile de la ventilatoare. Cati nu si-au luat teapa citindu-le? Sa fim seriosi. Trebuie sa se faca o reglementare sau ceva. Noroc ca unele siteuri mai fac reviewuri si testeaza mai multe deodata. Asa aflam minciunile.

Nu, vardar e mult mai slab ca typhoon la presiune. Nu exista termen de comparatie. Si o zic din propria experienta. Si il testasem contra unui typhoon obosit si galagios pe care nu-l folosesc pentru ca sta prost la capitolul zgomot.

Va zic eu ca un cooler normal n-o sa aiba performante cu mult sub unul cu talpa mare. Pastilele sunt asezate in asa fel sub IHS incat "ating" vertical talpa coolerului, iar IHS-ul ala preia caldura si-o egalizeaza inainte sa ajunga la cooler. Un cooler precum NH-D14 are "forta" sa raceasca watii emanati de Threadripper.
Noctua zice mai pe romaneste... "alti bani, alta distractie".

Sau poate doar nu vor să-şi rişte imaginea.
Gândeşte-te că vine nenea reviewer pe Youtube X şi zice "nu merită să luaţi NH-D15 pentru Threadripper deoarece cooler-ul ABC cu talpă mare răceşte aproape la fel de bine cu preţ la jumătate".

Comentatori de-aia o sa existe mereu. Nu zice nimeni sa iei cooler cu talpa normala daca nu ai deja, ideea era sa poti reutiliza un cooler pe care-l ai fara sa iei altul. Clar, daca nu ai cooler pentru TR, scoti banul si iei ceva dedicat. Si pe principiul asta merg si ei, eliminând din start prima varianta.

AIO-urile Asetek pentru care exista kit de instalare in pachet au talpa normala din cate stiu eu (altfel nu ar merge pe 1151). Daca alea merg ok, dar ce nu ar merge si un Noctua?
