AMD RyZEN Blender Benchmark - Postati rezultatele voastre
Dupa cum stiti primele detalii despre viitoarele procesoare AMD RyZEN au fost dezvaluite publicului. In cadrul demonstratiei realizate cu ocazia AMD Tech Summit 2016, cei de la AMD au rulat un benchmark pe Ryzen utilizand Blender si setarea 150 samples.

Apoi au aratat pe Reddit cum se decurca cu 100 de samples

Daca vrei sa va formati o idee despre cum merge RyZEN la 3.4GHz fata de platforma voastra, puteti rula acelasi benchmark cu aceleasi setari.
1 - descarcati Blender 2.78a de aici si instalati-l
2 - descarcati scena de test AMD de aici
3 - porniti Blender si deschideti scena
4 - in tab-ul "Samples" din dreapta ecranului (vezi primul screenshot) setati valoarea pentru Render la 100
5 - din meniul Render apasati "Render"
6 - deschideti doua tab-uri de CPU-Z (unul pentru CPU si unul pentru memorii) si faceti un screenshot
7 - postati aici screenshot-ul si descrierea dupa modelul
matose (nickname) - Intel Core i7 6950X (procesor) - 4200MHz (10c/20t) (frecventa si nuclee), Windows 10 (OS), 100 samples (setare) - 16s (rezultat rotunjit)
Va rog postati:
-numele complet al procesorului (Intel Core i5, nu i5 sau Core i5)
-respectati formatarea de mai sus ca sa pot face update mai usor primului post
-rotunjiti tot ce este pana in 0.49 inspre 0, respectiv tot ce este 0.5x inspre 1 (14.34 = 14, 14.51 = 15s)
In mod implicit Blender randeaza 200 de sample-uri per punct, insa valoarea a fost schimbata atat pentru RyZEN cat si pentru 6900K in demo-ul lor la 150 pentru a economisi timp. Apoi au postat si rezultate cu 100 samples. Mai jos vedeti rezultatele obtinute de Core i7 7700K la frecventa stock atat cu 200 samples cat si cu 150 si 100 samples, pentru referinta.

Eu confirm ca am Compute device - None si am selectat CPU.
Poate cu un OS fresh si fara mui pe el ar merge o idee mai bine. Dar tot sunt multumit.
Ma uimeste in mod neplacut faptul ca un proc intel (7700k-ul tau) 4c/8t este putin mai rapid decat zen-ul cu 8c/16t.......

Ce mi se pare ciudat e ca, cu toate ca activitate CPU se duce la 99-100%, temperaturile sunt prea mici. 56C. Ca idee, Prime pe BLEND(deci ceva relativ lejer in comparatie cu Small FFT) il duce pe la 65.

Blend nu este deloc mai lejer, pentru ca iti incarca si IMC-ul. In fine, asta este discutie pentru alt thread. Ideea este ca Blender nu este un benchmark sau un test sintetic... este o aplicatie reala care chiar se foloseste pentru randari.

Procu se duce din 0.8 idle in 3.4, ceva e prea dubios, timpu e prea mic, o sa refac si vedem. Are in jur de 60C
1:26, se pare ca era selectat GTX-ul. As fi tare curios cu un 280X ce iese pe OpenCL.
EDIT: Si-a dat update cand nu eram in camera dupa primu test la 10.12.3 beta ca e sistemu de test. Ce dracu, asa mare sa fie scaderea?

Eu astept sa posteze cineva cu Broadwell-E sau Haswell-E. Sunt foaaarte curios de ce rezultat iese. Parca imi pute ceva ca un Kaby Lake 4c/8t sa fie la fel de rapid ca un Broadwell 8c/16t.....
Poate au mai masluit AMD ceva in setarile alea....

@ Monstru: Cred ca m-am edificat, era pe CPU de prima data dar pana sa revin in camera si-a dat update la 10.12.3 beta iesit acu 5 mintue.
Asa mare sa fie downul? pffff nu cred. O sa i dau si un geekbench 4 sa vad.
Nu mint ca nu am de ce, se vede cat am scos si in poza, din prima.
Ca sa ma conving ca se seteaza implicit pe CPU l-am dezinstalat si reinstalat si da vine implicit pe CPU.
Ma gandesc ca fiind primul beta s-ar putea sa fi schimbat cate ceva. Si 10.12.2 a avut vreo 5-6 beta-uri pana la asta.

Se anuleaza tot! Sunt obosit fuck, setasem 200 in loc de 100 ) ))))
De aceea a iesit timpu ala de 1 minut si ceva pt ca era pe 200 la al 2 lea test si nu 100.
