Try another strap for ram and see if they blend. Also check in wich performance lvl are you. Try performance level 8-9 and different strap on RAM. Also on Dfi and Asus P5q deluxe was that problem with ram strap.

Now I remembered. I think that As$hole crippled one module on Amd X2 system iirc and boots only at 2v. Right?
They should handle 1200 4-4-4-12 easily at 2.4v. They are rated at [email protected] but once in Galați they did 1200 4-4-4-12 with just 1.8v.
Gtl is for fine tuning, you should check that PLL and vtt. Bump them.

I will try tomorrow on Ep45 Ud3p to see if is still working.
Today i stayed 3 hours just to understand the gtl's and how to go past 485 fsb,i managed to squeze another 20 increments,but that's about it.I think a 508 is doable,i will try again tomorrow.

I know that with that kit I beat him and Monster but Ramiro returned the scores fast.

@Enz0 - quad is different on oc than c2d on x48. For quads,one of the best motherboard's possible is the one with p45 chipset.
With a ep45 ud3lr i made 540 fsb quickly with q9550,even though it costed less than 50 euro brand new.(at that time).
@kicsipapucs - even if you will win 3 days in a row you will still loose. Move your ass and oc on Rex like i do

For the moment i have 7 points from 28,if i manage to win another 8 and maybe you 2 will split the others equally will be the best case scenario for me.

My lovely Dfi is at Hellfish. It did 600fsb on air with E8500 without stress and FSB 500 stock voltage.

Lot of pages to read and it's just in romanian language.
Iirc he was somewhere near 1.5v on Nb, 1.7v PLL and 1.3 vtt cooled with True copper and Sunon fans.
He used Micron [email protected] I think .
It was long time ago so I might be mistaking but I think these were the values he used.

Mine were ddr2 Team Xtreem, tall grey radiator . I remember I donated them for a kid in your behalf but in your submission I see ddr3.

yes,only 1 module was working properly,the other one which needed increased voltage died shortly after he start using them.
I still have that one module,i've tryed to take out the radiators on the one which died ,to put it in the freezer ,but the ic's went along with the radiator so it's dead for good now.

Sorry for your loss. It was a golden kit. That happens when idiots receive good merchandise. They cannot handle it properly.
You should try the other one just for fun. It should easily hit on cold air 1.5ghz cl5 with 2.6v on a proper Mb.

I know you won't understand shit from my hungarian, but this is my diary from the 2x ln2 bench sessions made this monday and on the monday the week before:

My Q9550 doesn't need any cold. It runs out of fsb and not vcore, or run into heat issues. So if my boards will get back running, I'll be able to do some nice wprime and 1m runs. Maybe HWBot Priome too. spi32m is not my world.

Another wprime32m bellow. I have one ss with a better superi1m, but I am too laizy right now to swap HDDs. So if somebody will beat my curent spi1m, I really don't care right now.
I had to find now one OS on which I can install java and run hwbot prime.
I will probably stop at 4730 Mhz, 'cause this cpu needs a better cooling to fully unleashed all it's power. And I also have to improve my efficiency.

So, @suzuki, you just earned (at least) 2 points.
