Priceless...

De asemenea 8800GTX a fost si primul meu high-end de la nVidia... but let us remember:

https://youtube.com/watch?v=exaMRJZGUmo

RaverX 12-12-2018 23:31

DLSS is an alternative, but not a substitute for Ultra HD

..."The picture quality makes one step forward and one back
It is difficult to rate the image quality of DLSS in Final Fantasy XV, because the TAA used by the game in 3.840 × 2.160 ensures good image quietness, but despite the high resolution still leaves a clearly visible blur over the image. Since DLSS is calculated without TAA, there is a constant up and down. Some image areas look better with native resolution and TAA, while others with automatically reduced resolution and "KI upsampling". This behavior has already shown the benchmark .

Two things can be said with certainty. DLSS looks consistently better than TAA with 2,560 × 1,440 when the resolution is displayed on an Ultra HD monitor. However, the AI algorithm alters the color representation. So the colors with DLSS are consistently cooler than without the algorithm. For some surfaces, this is not noticeable at all, for others, however, clearly - in the direct comparison, the least have. However, the developers have actually provided a different color representation for the game."

..."DLSS can not hide the fact that the native resolution is reduced. And that brings two disadvantages. The first concerns the level of detail of the presentation, because while some surfaces look sharper with DLSS, others are less detailed due to the lower resolution. Above all, more distant details are usually more beautiful with Ultra HD. Although there are exceptions, it can be said that Final Fantasy XV with DLSS near-surface is usually more detailed, while Ultra HD with TAA usually looks better in the medium and long range. The second disadvantage concerns the actual anti-aliasing, because the AI algorithm can not compensate for the lower resolution here. While Ultra HD with TAA creates a partly blurred, but still quiet picture, some objects flicker more with DLSS. This is especially true for buildings and fences. DLSS also interprets some surfaces differently than the classical calculation. So a few objects with DLSS simply look different. Most of the time this seems to affect reflective surfaces."
