si un xeon foarte old dintr-un server care are un smd explodat pe partea cealalta, parca 500mhz avea unul, o sa revin cu poza si la mobo... nu stiu unde sa gasesc 2 bucati de genul asta ca sa-l fac sa ruleze, celalat cpu e MIA momentan.

este cea de 1Mb extensibil la 2?

Am si eu ceva de repus in functiune! Prima data o sa ii fac o "ventilare de praf" cu, compresorul si apoi vad ce e functional. As baga un "ani de liceu" aka Quake 2 in cazul meu

Am gasit si un FX 5600 GOLD ED dar are o rezistenta mica sau ce naiba e sarita, nu o bag in pc ca mi-e sa nu fac poc, ma oftic ca era varianta cu racire misto pe ea...

Da, quake 2 si primul unreal si heroes 2 si 3

Am o tona de piese si n-am timp sa le testez, probabil o sa aleg spuma si ma apuc de niste bench-uri cand le sortez...

Ma dispera ca nu am o placa video pe PCI vechi ca am multe mobouri care nu imi dau beep code sau imagine pe monitor, poate reuseam sa le rescriu biosul daca boot-au.

Am reusit sa pun pe picioare ceva mai special a se vedea poza de mai jos (scorul e campion pe HW bot - dar deja aveam scorul cel mai mare asa ca n-am catadicsit sa-l urc din nou )



Acum caut o modalitate inteligenta sa urc cu procesorul cat mai sus, sau sa racesc placa video cat mai tare pentru a da un scor in jurul lui 7K (am vazut ca versiunea PCI de V5 5500 cu overclock si pe platforma rapida/de generatie noua ajunge foarte aproape de 7K deci ar trebui sa mearga si asta pe AGP cel putin la fel de bine)

Oricum sunt inspaimantat - vad ca unii au stors unul si au scos -> 7071 puncte ... sunt foarte departe de scorul ala ... trebuie sa invat trick-ul cu LoD
